Our small family-owned cabinet shop is growing and we are looking for a reliable and experienced Carpenter/Cabinetmaker to join our team. We offer competitive pay based on experience and the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting and challenging projects.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, or other materials
- Operate hand and power tools to create high-quality cabinetry and furniture
- Install cabinetry and furniture on-site
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Carpenter/Cabinetmaker
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and techniques used in carpentry and cabinetmaking
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
