Our company is seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. The job will primarily entail spraying lacquer/conversion varnish on cabinetry and furniture in our spray booth, as well as occasional on-site work such as touch-ups on molding, filling nail holes, and painting drywall. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional painting environment and possess excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Spray lacquer/conversion varnish on cabinetry and furniture in our spray booth
- Sand and prepare surfaces for painting
- Occasionally perform touch-ups on molding, fill nail holes, and paint drywall
- Clean and maintain paint equipment and work area
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other team members
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a professional painting environment
- Knowledge of paint application techniques, mixing colors, and surface preparation
- Experience with spraying lacquer/conversion varnish on cabinetry and furniture
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
