Job Title: Siding Repairman
Job Overview: We need a skilled and experienced Siding Repairman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and selling exterior siding on residential and commercial properties. The Siding Repairman will play a crucial role in identifying storm damage as well. Attention to detail, proficiency in various siding materials, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Inspection and Assessment:
Conduct thorough inspections of property to identify manufacturer, type, quality and damage, wear, or other issues.
Assess the extent of repairs needed and provide accurate cost estimates and or insurance contingency if needed
Repair and Restoration:
Execute repairs on damaged or deteriorating siding, ensuring a seamless and visually pleasing finish.
Replace or install siding materials as required, including vinyl, wood, fiber cement, and metal.
Material Knowledge:
Stay current on the latest siding materials, techniques, and industry best practices.
Advise clients on suitable siding options based on their preferences and budget.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair processes, timelines, and any additional recommendations.
Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate workflow efficiently.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in siding repair and installation.
Familiarity with various siding materials and their unique characteristics.
Skills:
Proficient in using a variety of tools and equipment related to siding repair.
Ability to access damaged areas via roof or ladders
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Take GOOD pictures to document damages
Problem-solving skills to address unforeseen issues during repairs.
Reliability and Customer Service
Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential
Must have a valid driver's license and insurance with a clean driving record.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and team members.
