About the Job:
VEPO Solutions is part of a major citywide Smart Water Meter Upgrade Project. We're looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to join our field team as Water Meter Installers.
No plumbing license is required - we provide full training.
You'll be part of a fast-growing company helping modernize water systems in the region. Most work is performed in residential basements or outdoor meter pits.
Responsibilities:
Replace old water meters with new Badger or Sensus smart meters
Run low-voltage wiring from basement meters to outdoor radios
Leave door tags and record installation data using a company-issued phone or tablet
Communicate professionally with customers and homeowners
Follow daily routes and report completion status to team leads
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors
Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for reporting
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, cable, or utility installation a plus
Schedule:
Monday–Friday (8–10 hour shifts)
Optional Saturdays for additional hours
Weekly pay via direct deposit
