We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This site is located in New Albany, OH and will be at a Battery Energy storage facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and solar battery storage and project coordination, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
-Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
-Coordinate project schedules and resources using construction management software.
-Oversee project estimating and budgeting processes to ensure financial accountability.
-Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including clients and subcontractors.
-Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
-Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project specifications.
-Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, and HeavyBid for project management tasks.
-Implement effective time management strategies to optimize workflow and productivity.
-Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills / Requirements
-10-15 yrs Experience in Construction Project Management.
-2-3 yrs Experience in Solar Battery Storage.
-OSHA 30 preferred
-60 hr work week, Mon-Sat.
-Electrical knowledge is a plus
-Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
-Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
-Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
-Experience in contract negotiation and management within the construction industry.
-Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
-Solid background in construction site experience is essential for effective project oversight.
