As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of packages to residential and commercial locations within a designated area. You will represent FedEx Ground in a professional manner and ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.Key Responsibilities:- Operate a FedEx delivery vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.- Load and unload packages weighing up to 150 lbs, using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment as needed.- Plan daily routes to maximize efficiency and timeliness of deliveries.- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses while maintaining a high standard of customer service.- Collect payments and obtain signatures as required.- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance of delivery vans.- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues or delays.- Communicate with dispatchers and supervisors regarding delivery status and any challenges faced in the delivery process.- Uphold FedEx Ground's commitment to safety and sustainability in all aspects of the job.Qualifications:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.- Previous delivery driving experience preferred but not mandatory.- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 150 lbs.- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.- Flexibility to work varying hours, including one weekend day per weekBenefits:- Competitive pay with opportunities for overtime.- Training pay starts at $155 per day- Health, dental, and vision insurance.- Retirement savings plan (401k) with company match.- Paid time off and company holidays.- Opportunities for career advancement within the company.How to Apply:Interested candidates can apply online by responding to this add.
