Job Summary:
Using previous experience and achieved knowledge, designs graphics and illustrations, and provides layout services for internal and external publications and advertising. Generally performs role with only a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
1. Provide graphic design services to meet the needs of internal and external clients. Serve as consultant on graphic design projects to ensure highest quality production at lowest cost.
2. Provide graphic design services for advertising.
3. Provide graphic design production services in support of other design projects and designers in Creative Services.
4. Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of processes, equipment and software necessary for quality graphic arts production, pre-press publication, printing processes, and digital publishing.
5. Work cooperatively with Corporate Communications, Information Technology, and other groups to create projects and further communication efforts.

Minimum Requirements:
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in fine arts, design or illustration.
Work Experience: Three years' of professional experience in graphic design.

Additional Requirements: Physical demand level is Sedentary
1. Incumbent must have experience in graphic design and layout for print media, and the ability to deliver high-quality projects on deadline and within budget.
2. The incumbent must also have an awareness of the digital tools and processes necessary to work with printers and print shops, and be able to work with our many external partners in producing printed materials.
3. Digital design, Web design or interactive design proficiency is not necessarily required, but is a valuable addition to this position and will be strongly preferred.
