A Typical Workday May Include:
▸ This position will learn to read and understand the production and unload schedule in order to coordinate with the production lines.
▸ Requires the operation of a sit-down and/or stand-up clamp or high lift.
▸ Will learn to operate depalletizing equipment, conveyors and all other relative production equipment.
▸ Will train on inventory management system with RF capability.
▸ Will understand and follow all safety, housekeeping and GMP rules.
▸ Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
▸ Communicate with other production operators, leads and supervisors as needed.
▸ Will perform daily and weekly housekeeping assignments.
▸ Also activities such as recording production line changeover information, observing and collecting data for equipment operating issues.
▸ Helping with inventory and assisting on other production lines as needed.
What You Will Need:
▸ Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
▸ Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
▸ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
▸ Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
▸ Must be able to work 12 hour shift rotating days.
▸ Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
▸ Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
▸ Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
▸ Computer skills including being able to enter and retrieve data
▸ At least 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment
