Established Dayton company has an opening for a Quality/Shipping Technician. We are seeking a driven individual with a good attitude and work ethic that has experience using micrometers and guages along with basic computer skills.

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, for the course of your shift
Experience reading/recording data using micrometers & guages
Must have visual acuity to review & inspect parts
Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, & Outlook
Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Daily Job Tasks inlcude, but are not limited to:
Pack/Unpack parts
Peform pre & post inspections
Visual mechanical inspection
Receiving of parts in & order review
Preparation for parts to be shipped out
Read and follow part processing router for inspection and packaging requirements
Read processing router to determine if all steps were properly documented and signed off
Monitor equipment & record information, data, and counts to maintain accurate inspection
Enter data during order review and help generate router sheets
Communicate any issues upon receiving inspection with customer
Work in team setting to complete multiple tasks and goals
Pay ranges from $18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.
