We are a small engineering consulting business providing assessments, training and engineering technology services to people with disabilities in employment and educational settings. We are offering a full-time position to provide administrative and training support to help people with disabilities utilize standard and adaptive computer technology and other rehab technology solutions. Initial focus will be on administrative tasks. There is opportunity for growth in working with technology and training Clients through on-the-job training.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative and training support for small team. Conduct intakes for new Clients. Manage the selection, purchase, inventory and billing of computers, ergonomic tools and other assistive technology items.
Effectively communicate with the team and Clients. Growth into the following responsibilities: Assess Clients for technology in job settings and record information. Set up new computer systems including installation of standard and adaptive software and hardware items. Provide training instruction to Clients on the technology in education and employment settings. Work in team environment to problem-solve and research assistive technology related solutions.
Qualifications
Minimum high school graduate. Minimum 5 years work experience. Strong interpersonal skills.
Candidate needs to be comfortable learning new software and working with computers. Most skills can be learned on the job. A background in teaching instruction, experience with the disabled population and knowledge of computers and mobile technology are a plus. Candidate must be able to drive and travel in SW Ohio.
