We are currently offering a Signing Bonus for qualified Crane Field Service Technicians!

Crane Field Service Technicians are responsible for installing, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing crane and hoist equipment on customer premises – meeting and exceeding customer’s expectations. Our Crane Technicians are provided with a company service truck, tablet, credit card, and cell phone.

Position responsibilities include:

Complete all service jobs that are assigned to you.

Perform inspections, maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists.

Conduct on-site electrical, mechanical, structural and electrical troubleshooting to determine cause for equipment malfunction.

Update and maintain customer bearings and mechanical gearbox systems.

Consult with customer regarding repair and safety related issues and discuss recommendations to improve their material handling needs.

Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often.

Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on (timecards, maintenance reports with customers’ signature). Paperwork must be completed at job site before leaving for the next job or going home.

Communicate with dispatcher and/or service office as to status of jobs and availability for new jobs.

Develop and maintain relationship with territory sales representatives to keep them informed of sales opportunities you might see.

Always adhere to safety rules and policies at all times.

A qualified candidate will have:

Excellent electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills. Some electronic experience is preferred but not required.

Experience with welding and fabricating.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Steel handling and rigging experience.

Must be comfortable working in elevated locations.

A valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Must have your own tools, strong customer service skills and be dependable.
