Job Description
Atomic Transport is a quickly growing force in the transportation segment of the waste industry operating over 23 terminals across the Southeast and Midwest. We are currently seeking an experienced mechanic to join our crew in Dayton, OH. Our team and our shop have grown, and we need someone that can help ensure the fleet’s maintenance needs are met!
Requirements:
Ø High school diploma or GED equivalent
Ø Must have standard mechanic’s toolset (Company provides specialty tools)
Ø Must have minimum two years’, verifiable experience
Ø Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
Ø CDL-A or B preferred, but not required
Ø Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks
Ø Should be knowledgeable about DOT vehicle maintenance requirements and regulations
Ø Aluminum welding capability preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Ø Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance
Ø Perform vehicle inspections
Ø Make road calls as needed
Ø Mount/ Dismount tires as needed.
Job Type:
Full-time, second shift (3pm-11pm)
Monday-Friday
Saturdays (half days) AS NEEDED
