Granite Transformations seeks a detail-oriented, efficient, and customer-focused Installer to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a background in countertop and bathroom installations and is committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking candidates with experience in:
- Installing kitchen countertops, including granite, quartz, Formica, or laminate.
- Bathroom tile installation, including walls, floors, and backsplashes.
- Perform demolition and handle the proper disposal of old materials.
- Applying waterproofing systems in bathroom projects to meet safety and durability standards.
- Using tools and adhesives specific to countertop and tile installations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Pre-Job Preparation:
- Review job paperwork and ensure all required materials, tools, and supplies are loaded in the van.
- Complete all checklists with initials; any forgotten items will be the installer’s responsibility.
- Inventory slabs, tools, and supplies a day before the installation. Report shortages to the Operations Manager.
2. Material Verification:
- Retrieve completed tops and splashes from the finishing rack and compare them to the template. Acceptance of unchecked materials indicates full responsibility.
3. Customer Interaction:
- Call customers when en route, providing an accurate arrival window and updates for delays.
- Wear proper, clean attire with the company or Lowe's badge when required.
4. Installation Process:
- Prepare the installation area, including floor coverings, cabinet wrapping, and dust control measures.
- Perform as-needed demolition of old countertops, tiles, or bathroom surfaces while ensuring minimal disruption to the customer’s home.
- Install countertops (granite, quartz, Formica/laminate) and bathroom surfaces, including tile, efficiently and professionally.
- Apply waterproofing systems as required for bathroom surfaces to ensure long-lasting and secure installations.
- Conduct walkthroughs with customers to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
5. Finalization:
- Obtain customer signatures for final approval.
- Collect payments or assist customers with online payment processes as needed.
- Clean all work areas.
6. Vehicle and Workspace Maintenance:
- Maintain and clean vans, trailers, and trucks weekly. Report maintenance issues immediately.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
