Our company is a growing, dynamic, fun, fast paced student and multifamily housing organization. The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for all aspects of the student-housing property maintenance and upkeep while working under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
â¢Assist in the daily maintaining of the property grounds as well as the daily repair and upkeep of the property
â¢Ensure the proper turn over of vacant units and make-readies for occupancy
â¢Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
â¢Report any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
â¢Ensure the proper cleaning of work areas, tools and equipment
â¢Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
â¢Be available to work on an on-call basis
â¢Maintain the required property uniform and insuring a professional appearance and attitude at all times
â¢Able to perform duties of the job while standing, walking, and/or sitting for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined areas
â¢Able to push, pull, lift, carry and maneuver weights of up to thirty (30) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
â¢Other tasks as assigned and needed
Qualifications:
â¢High school diploma or equivalent required
â¢One to two years of maintenance experience required
â¢HVAC Certification strongly preferred
â¢Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
â¢Strong oral and written communication skills
