QA Engineer

Description We are offering an employment opportunity for a QA Engineer in Dublin, Ohio. The role involves duties in a highly regulated GCP environment, focusing on testing a greenfield application and ensuring automated testing provides sufficient coverage. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement robust test cases based on functional/business requirements and software behavior discussions.

Demonstrate proficiency with manual testing methodologies in a GCP environment.

Collaborate with the team to ensure automated testing provides sufficient coverage for both positive and negative scenarios.

Leverage a strong understanding of Java/Python/Git to add tests to our code repositories.

Analyze production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis, and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change for continuous improvement in system stability and performance.

Demonstrate knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or a related field.

Practical experience working in an agile environment.

Excellent communication skills along with a detail-oriented approach.

Proficiency with Python, Git, JUnit, PyTest, and understanding of GCP.

Understanding of structured software, metrics, B2B software, mentor, and test cases, QA, and automated testing.

Demonstrable problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with application programming, Java, and root cause analysis.
