Primary Function
Lubricates all equipment in the plant as required.
Insures that all tow motors are properly fueled, greased, and oiled.
Checks oil in air compressor daily, adding or changing oil as required.
Maintains clean factory and surrounding grounds.
Properly disposes of all trash accumulation.
Maintains cleanliness of all factory restrooms.
Moves pans of work through various departments and performs general clean-up work throughout the plant.
Related Activities
Bleeds water out of air lines.
Cleans out oil separator.
Checks oil supply and gas in storage tanks.
Sweeps and mops floors where required.
Washes windows, lunch tables, light fixtures.
Sweeps up dock area and keeps outside yard tidy.
Proper disposal of scrap paper, garbage and other rubbish.
Maintains proper supplies for restrooms.
Keeps adequate supply of cleaning material.
Operates power sweeper and lift truck in performing above duties.
Cleans secondary equipment.
Box/Crate making, material handling.
Occasional Duties
Assists Maintenance mechanic whenever necessary.
Drives truck per maintenance requirements.
Makes wooden crates for shipment.
Changes bulbs and cleans light fixtures.
May be required to perform duties of groundskeeper on necessary occasions.
Operate stud washer.
Keeps passageways clear at all times and eliminates all possible fire hazards.
