Job Title: CNC Lathe MachinistJob DescriptionThe CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for performing multiple set-ups, working with aluminum and steel materials, and ensuring high precision with tight tolerances. The role involves quality control, tolerance testing, and writing and editing codes, specifically g-codes. The machinist will work with Fanuc and Siemens controls.Responsibilities
Perform 5-10 set-ups depending on the inventory sheet for the day.
Work with aluminum and steel materials.
Maintain tight tolerances ranging from .0002 to .002.
Conduct quality control and tolerance testing.
Write and edit g-codes.
Operate and troubleshoot Fanuc and Siemens controls.
Essential Skills
Experience with calipers and gauges.
3-4+ years of CNC lathe machinist experience.
Proficiency in writing and editing g-codes.
Experience working in a job shop.
Ability to work with tight tolerances.
