Purpose
Working independently, the Sales Representative is the primary point of contact for existing and
potential customers. Also responsible for establishing, growing and maintaining customer
relationships at the local level by providing seamless and consistent service to the customer. This
is primarily accomplished by making regular visits to existing customer job sites, and the offices of
former and potential customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Makes regular visits to the job sites of existing customers.
Visits offices/job sites of former and potential customers making sure they understand Maxim\'s capabilities and products.
Establishes, grows, and maintains customer relationships at the local level by providing seamless and consistent service to the customer.
Conducts/coordinates office visits, site visits, and job planning meetings with Branch Manager and/or RSMD
Prepares bids and gives technical advice on crane types and lift solutions.
Advises on availability of assets by timeframe and location.
Advises on crane lifting plans (3D lift planning)
Resolves disputes that pertain to customer related issues.
Functions as the primary liaison between the customer and Maxim Crane
Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
BA/BS (Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field) or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Experience:
2+ years\' prior experience in Sales
Skills/Knowledge:
Moderate level understanding of the regional market, clients, and competitors
Moderate level knowledge of MS Office and CRM software
Advanced level customer service skills
Advanced level written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced level analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced level organizational skills and attention to detail
Other:
Current Driver\'s License and Maxim approved driving record must be maintained
Frequent local travel is required, occasional overnight travel may also be necessary
Must be able to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence and memos and
the ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one
and small group situations to other employees of the organization

this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to finger; handle or feel; and kneel;

close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee
encounters while performing the essential functions of an outside sales job. Moderate physical effort
required; including sitting, standing, walking, using a keyboard, and a phone are regular actions
performed in this role. Occasional exposure to the elements may occur while visiting Maxim Depots
or customer job sites. Must be alert and aware while driving on company business.

The Sales Manager\'s primary role is to attract, lead, coach and develop a team of quota-bearing associates to drive revenue for Gartner. A Sales Manager typically manages a team of 6-12 direct reports.

Achieve or overachieve financial targets

What you\'ll need:
Minimum 7-15 years shown consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software or hardware), with 3+ years of management experience
Internal candidates should have a demonstrated track record of successful financial performance, with 2+ years of QB sales experience in Gartner MA or Gartner management experience
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and motivate sales associates
Strong business acumen, forecasting skills, influencing skills and interpersonal skills (to share knowledge with a team to support the growth strategy within sales)
Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, sales acumen, handling others

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Cylinder Filler will be responsible for safely handling and filling gas products into liquid, medical and high pressure gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and meeting the standard operating procedures of Airgas.
Position Title: Production Associate (Cylinder Filler)
Columbus, OH
In particular, you will:
- Inspects cylinders prior to filling, following standard procedures as required by government, Airgas, and distributor standards. Conducts a variety of Safety checks per procedures, such as odor tests, checking caps and valves. Analyzes products for purity and correct mixtures.
- Handles high-pressure, medical and liquid cylinders. Prepares high pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling. Attaches to manifold, evacuates cylinders to eliminate all possible contaminants. Fills cylinders by pressure and weight, per regulations and standards.
- Assists with the loading & unloading of cylinders on & off pallets and tractor trailers. Operates a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
- Manages paperwork to DOT, FDA, OSHA, and Airgas standards. Completes quality control sheets as required.
- Understands hazards of various gases; size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks. Accurately labels cylinders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Are you a MATCH?
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one year of prior experience in a manufacturing operation, filling or loading experience preferred.
- Strong background in gas, welding and safety supply industry or chemical industry preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend material safety data sheets.
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines.
- Strong level of attention to detail.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
