Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in the service industry, based in Independence, Ohio, United States. As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will take on a critical role in managing and administering employee benefits, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling intricate aspects of compensation management.Responsibilities: Oversee the administration of 401k and 403B plans, ensuring all procedures are in line with regulatory requirements. Conduct compliance testing, including but not limited to ADP/ACP, 402(g), 410(b), 415, and Top Heavy tests, to maintain the integrity of our compensation and benefits programs. Accurately reconcile plan assets from various record keepers such as Voya, Empower, etc., maintaining the utmost precision and attention to detail. Take responsibility for preparing Form 5500 and related schedules, ensuring all data is accurate and submitted within required timelines. Assess compliance of all compensation and benefits activities, proactively identifying and addressing any areas of concern. Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all customer information is up-to-date and accurate. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status.
