Position DescriptionCaring Genuinely for People is at the heart of our team and a core value of Flynn’s culture. In 2015, we created the Flynn Family Fund to support our team members and their families when they are faced with unexpected financial challenges. The Fund is entirely employee-funded, and since its inception, the fund has maintained 80% employee participation across the organization, We have raised over $8.5 million in donations and awarded over 7,000 grants.The Family Fund Administrator heads the organization’s fundraising efforts and fund distribution for the program. This position leads the grant committees and will be responsible for maintaining the program that assists employees with grants to cover medical bills, housing deposits, and other financial struggles. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a driven, highly organized individual to engage with colleagues across the entire organization and at all levels of the organization to support funding, gather documentation, and facilitate grant awards.Essential responsibilities will include:
Oversee all aspects of the grant cycle, from pre- to post-award.
Maintains the grant website- Submittable and facilitates all the communication and applications for incoming grants.
Maintain communication with employees regarding the status of their requests and follow up for clarification of needs and required documentation.
Works with our Accounting team and Treasury team to maintain the Fund’s bank account and distribute funds from payroll deductions to the account.
Conduct weekly calls with the foundation’s committees by phone reporting on current operations and leading discussions regarding grant requests
Pursue information and support from community agencies local to employees when appropriate.
Compile financial, engagement, and outcome reports for distribution within the company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Work with the Operations team to support employee participation through planning events, promotions, and/or activities with the goal of increasing donations and awareness of the program.
Regularly communicate with employees at all levels at the support office, in operations, with company executives and the legal team.
Meet with the board regularly to keep our bylaws and non-profit status updated.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider a combination of school and experience; must possess a background working for a non-profit organization and grant administration
