Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant, in Northern Cincinnati. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be tasked with a variety of duties including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and managing the general ledger. Responsibilities Efficiently manage bank reconciliation processes. Oversee the month-end close operations. Perform account reconciliation tasks. Ensure accuracy in balance sheet reconciliation. Maintain and update records in Microsoft Excel. Handle entries in the general ledger. Operate and manage processes in SAP.Requirements Proven experience in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are promptly addressed. Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation, demonstrating an ability to identify errors and make necessary adjustments. Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations, verifying the company's bank records against its own ledger of transactions and balances. Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger, including the ability to maintain, prepare, and analyze financial records and reports. Experience in creating and maintaining Journal Entries, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating an ability to use advanced functions for financial analysis and reporting. Experience in Month End Close procedures, ensuring all financial information is consolidated and finalized in a timely manner. Proficiency in SAP, showcasing an ability to use this software for various accounting procedures and tasks.
