We build and maintain America’s cellular networks. We DO NOT CLIMB towers.
We need a technician to join our DC Power plant installation team. We install DC power plants to convert AC to DC and power equipment in the shelters at the base of towers. We also install battery strings.
Must be experienced working in AC panel.
Must be willing to work at night. Most work is at night during the maintenance window. Our technicians work four 10 hour shift and then have a 3-day weekend at home.
We work primarily in Ohio. Must be willing to travel overnight in Ohio. Most of our work is currently in Northwest Ohio. Someone based in the area is a big plus for us.
We pay an hourly wage and provide a vehicle and cover meals and hotel when technicians are on the road. We are open to negotiating a flat rate per installation for experienced technicians.
Technicians must be based in Ohio or southern Michigan. We will not consider permanent road warriors from distant states.
This is an opportunity to learn a trade in a recession proof industry. We do not require a college degree.
Preferred Qualifications
We are looking for leaders who can manage a crew of technicians or subcontractors. We are also looking for crew members.
You must have some experience including some of the following:
- Experience with DC Power plants and installation of DC power cables.
- Experience working in AC panels.
- Knowledge of telecom company standards including grounding and cable lacing.
- Mechanical aptitude to build and install a wide variety of equipment.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

Must have reliable vehicle to get to job sites. Senior technicians have company vehicles.
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Must be able to traverse uneven terrain.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
