Senior Graphic Designer

OverviewThe Senior Graphic Designer works to support CommonSpirit Health at Home and all service lines to develop design materials for all media applications (print, digital, Internet, and Intranet), including, but not limited to: brochures, posters, logos, web banners, billboards, advertisements, flyers, presentations, design templates and any other related materials. Serves as the lead designer for CommonSpirit Health at Home Senior Leadership Team, Executive Steering Committee and Business Development to support strategic priorities. The Senior Graphic Designer has a proven creative mindset in a fast, ever-evolving environment. Responsible for managing all brand standards and maintaining the integrity of the organization’s identity, as well as all other related brands. Oversees the Graphic Designer and all creative, marketing and business development projects to ensure brand standards and timelines associated with strategic initiatives, internal requests, in all mediums (print, digital, social media, websites, communications, events and presentations). The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for meeting and exceeding project goals, objectives and timelines, creating dynamic content for a variety of platforms, enhancing the awareness and understanding of the organization and each service lines’ visual presence, both internally and externally, while reinforcing branding, key messaging, and consistency of design.Responsibilities

Supports CommonSpirit Health at Home’s mission to make the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

Works with the Communications and Marketing team to create, maintain, and update design collateral for all internal and external initiatives.

Creates and manages design elements to fulfill the organization’s goals and strategies, while maintaining the integrity of our identity by upholding brand standards.

Manages requests covering a broad range of needs; assisting subject matter experts, department and service line leaders with design creation and updates.

Strategically deploys visual designs to educate, build and promote awareness, and understanding of each service line, services offered, specific programs and initiatives.

Provides high-quality graphic support for company programs, presentations and special events.

Manages the standard processes regarding all design requests and project management.

Manages our comprehensive library of design files; ensuring regular updates and audit of resources.

Oversees development of design and graphics for our enterprise level website (with strong knowledge of digital asset manager), location-specific websites, partner websites and social media platforms; ensuring brand design standards are applied in all areas.

Manages partnership with print vendor(s) to support site functionality, online orders, new location builds and support changes that may impact vendor tools and resources.

Collaborate with project partners to gather requirements, provide recommendations, consult with the Communications and Marketing team and provide a high level of customer service by meeting and exceeding established goals and service level agreements for all requests assigned.

Supports Communications and Marketing initiatives, monitoring needs and following established processes.

Partners with CommonSpirit Health at Home’s Senior Leadership Team, Executive Steering Committee, Vice Presidents of Operations and Business Development Leadership to provide guidance and insights, creative support and project management.

Collaborates effectively with a diverse team of leaders and stakeholders.

Stays updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve design work.

Manages regular project tracking and status updates appropriately.

Other related duties as required.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree or certified training program required, preferably in the field of Graphic Design or related industry.Minimum of seven years’ experience working in graphic design, health care a plus.Advanced working knowledge of desktop publishing equipment, video creation and editing, and software programs (Adobe Creative Suite). Experience working with a digital asset management system, email marketing campaign system and website management tools.Strong understanding of design principles.Ability to create visually appealing and effective designs for various media (print, web, social media, etc.).Experience with branding and identity design.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent organization, time management and project management skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly and creatively.Experience in health care preferred.Experience with shooting and editing photos and video preferred.Experience designing for websites and working with web design tools preferred.Pay Range$27.45 - $39.80 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
