Description
We are seeking Senior Project Managers in the Manufacturing industry to work with our local client by joining an existing team working onsite. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Macedonia, Ohio area. You could manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan, as their Senior Project Manager. As a key member of the team, the chosen candidate will need to ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. Ideal candidates for this role can also be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. - Interacts and communicates with designers, stakeholders, developers, and technical team members
- Heads project planning
- Tracks and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner
- Sustain the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products
- Executes deployment scheduling in coordination with Dev Ops, tech lead, and Product Owner
- Collaborates with Product Owner/Product Manager to secure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are clean and feasible
- Contributes to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests
- Establishes detailed reporting to management on risk assessment, project status, and milestone completion
- Assembles with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects
- Collaborates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap
- Programs and administers the sprint planning and grooming meetings and routes ticket assignments
- Verifies project with exact ticket workflows and boards
- Shall cooperate closely with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst
- Enhances the daily stand-ups, making sure they are brief, focused, and timely
- Sets schedules and milestones with inputs from all other teams assigned to that product, manages project scope and timelines
- Combines info from QA leads, technical leads, and business analysts into ideas
- Offers support to manage dependencies among cross-product teams
- Confirms the RACI matrix for projects in a product line
- Exercises as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - leading scrum ceremonies, clearing obstacles and ensuring the team is working effectively
- Verify that the functional requirements are tracked, met, and achievable
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant Project Management experience
- It is preferred for applicants to have experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs
- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools
- The person in this position should be familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies
- We'll consider you a good candidate for this position if you are flexible and focused
- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have a Project Management (PMP) certification
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues
- JIRA experience desired
- Knowledge of Agile project management
- Agile Scrum experience
- Prior success in project management, supervisory leadership, and operational management
