Dependable Lawn Care is a lawn maintenance company based in Ohio, operating for over 10 years. We are focused on quality and customer service and expect our staff to feel the same. We are seeking reliable landscape crew leaders to join our team. They must be positive, enthusiastic, detailed-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 2-3 crew members to oversee lawn maintenance for residential and commercial properties.
- Ensuring the properties we maintain look great after every visit including but not limited to: weekly lawn maintenance, garden weeding, plant/ shrub pruning, garden bed edging, hedge trimming, transplanting/planting, shrub removal, spreading soil/mulch, spring & fall clean ups, etc.
- Responsible for keeping your fleet clean and tidy (truck/trailer/equipment) as well as a clean worksite.
- Must ensure the entire team works safely.
- Routine equipment maintenance (oil changes, blade sharpening, etc.)
- Act as a professional company representative for client questions and concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years landscape experience preferred.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, willing to learn, and a commitment to customer service with a strong work ethic.
- Leadership qualities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Skilled in proper mowing and trimming techniques and edging and weed removal techniques.
- Must be able to deal with clients on a daily basis in a professional manner.
- Ability to work in a physical setting, outdoors and in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule and work long hours when necessary.
- Must be able to work individually and in a team environment.
- Must have valid Driver's license and comfortable driving trucks with trailers.
- Strong knowledge on various tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.
- Excellent time management skills.
