Clark Schaefer Hackett, one of the most highly regarded mid-market CPA and advisory firms in the country, is seeking an Audit Associate II to join our nationally recognized Nonprofit & Employee Benefit Plan Practice in a hybrid work environment.
Our Not-for-Profit Group partners with more than 700 organizations ranging from local charities to institutions with annual budgets exceeding $1 billion. We provide audit, tax, and advisory services to organizations that strengthen communities and improve lives every day, including charitable and social service agencies, healthcare providers, foundations, museums, housing programs, faith-based institutions, and professional associations.

What You'll Do:Participate in financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for nonprofit and employee benefit plan clients.Assist with Single Audits for organizations receiving federal funding.Perform audit testing and evaluate internal controls.Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation.Communicate directly with clients and collaborate with engagement team members, managers, and partners.Develop expertise in nonprofit and employee benefit plan auditing while growing your public accounting career.
