POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for working with clients in a partnering, collaborating effort to help restore mental and emotional health to the individuals involved by providing services directly relating to treatment and daily living.RESPONSIBILITIES/STANDARDS:Responsible for providing direct clinical services.Duties include but are not limited to:· Provides direct Case Management services with a segment of the client population, their families and the community at large.· Provides case management services in a professional and tactful manner with concern for the client's well-being.· Attends all local county collaborative meetings and keep updated on cases local to that county as assigned by supervisor.· Collaborates with children's families, schools, clinicians and other providers in an integrated care approach to treatment.· Provides continuous contacts with local agencies and schools on all clients as applicable.· Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Responsible for providing prevention, community education and training.· Fulfills contract obligations when assigned· Provides mental health and substance abuse prevention services in the community· Provides educational services to community agencies and/or groups when requested by supervisor.Responsible for maintaining and submitting required documentation within current Allwell Behavioral Health Services policies and procedures or any other sanctioning body.Maintains 100% of required billable service hours as documented in monthly production reports.Complies with clinical supervision requirements.· Attends 95% of clinical supervision and county staff meetings.Will have access to and use of, as well as may create, Protected Health Information (PHI) of clients through verbal, written and electronic communications, as recorded and contained in ABHS's clinical records and electronic healthcare record system. Will use and protect such identified client PHI by maintaining and respecting client privacy and confidentiality in conformance to federal HIPAA and state patient privacy laws and regulations and ABHS client confidentiality policies. Employee will only access and use the minimum necessary PHI required to perform their job duties.QUALIFICATIONS:· Must possess a minimum of an associate's degree in social services or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred; Psychology, Counseling, Child Development or Social Work preferred.· Exercises judgment in discriminating among many alternatives.· Provides solutions to problems that require the application of established practices.· Reference to supervision and precedents is available as needed.· Monitors a complex process where corrective action is immediate and critical.· Provides, at times, complex explanations to others that require some prior thought and planning.
