In this role, you will develop skills in warehouse operations related to both production and vendor products. This role will be on 1st Shift, 6AM-2PM. This includes:Working the main receiving dock and managing the final disposition of products.Receipt, identification, verification, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods according to department guidelines and specifications.Accurately processing and maintaining all related documentation via PC and handwritten records, and maintaining inventory per department guidelines.Utilizing appropriate material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials; preparing orders for shipment including pallet labeling, consolidation, and stretch wrapping.Responding to inter-company requests for materials and material counts, serving as a resource for team members in resolving related issues.Training, assisting, and supporting team members in problem-solving and achieving department goals.Continuously reviewing processes and identifying improvement methods to enhance quality, reduce waste, and eliminate non-value-added work.Performing general housekeeping tasks, maintaining 5S standards, and assisting other job functions within the process based on business needs and leadership direction.
