We’re seeking an RFID Applications Engineer Co-Op to join our business in North America during the Fall. You will be responsible for providing support for product engineers working on the development of RFID tags, printer systems, and RFID reader systems operating in the HF and UHF bands. You are expected to work in support of product development engineers. The work environment will be primarily an office or application lab. You will use various automated RFID test systems and RFID printer and reader systems. Work activities require an understanding of engineering disciplines and scientific processes sufficient to support testing, data collection, data organization, and reporting. Our co-op program serves as a talent pipeline for our Early Careers Program throughout the organization.Key Responsibilities:Working directly with engineers and influencing product development and customer use case decisionsObtaining deep knowledge of RFID technology which can be a critical link for enabling the Internet of Things, Blockchain and Omni-Channel fulfillmentWorking as part of a technical team environment, with professionals trained on testing methods, critical thinking, data analysis and reporting in spreadsheets, and generating technical and customer-facing reportsProviding support for product engineers working on the development of RFID tags, printer systems, and RFID reader systems operating in the HF and UHF bandsUtilizing automated RFID test systems and RFID printer and reader systems to support testing, data collection, data organization, and reporting
