Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and motivated 3rd Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Mount Vernon, OH. In this critical role, you will oversee night shift operations, ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers.Work Environment:The work environment is representative of those an employee would encounter while performing the essential job functions in a warehouse environment which may include loud noise levels, vibration, hot/cold temperatures, and moving objects or vehicles.Essential Job Functions:Support safety policies and procedures within the plantSafety accident investigation and reportingMaintain a clean and safe plantResponsible for meeting shift production goalsConstantly evaluate productivity and current staff to optimize production efficiency and meet schedulesProvide continuous feedback in an environment that fosters open communicationManage production schedules, employee performance, payroll, attendance, time cards, training and disciplinary actionsResponsible for shift schedule to include:  work station assignments/rotations, shift paperwork, time cards and production sheetsResponsible for quality control, make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications, reject product outside of specificationsOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Plant ManagerSchedule and conduct shift meetingsFollow all Company policies and proceduresRegular attendance is essentialOther duties as assigned
