Description:long term position, indefinite contractReal-Time ICCP/SCADA Analyst Provide technical support for Real Time Communication and Data Exchange including but not limited to Supervisory Control Data Acquisition SCADA systems Distribution Management System DMS Inter Control Center Communication Protocol ICCP Energy Management EMS Systems and other technical infrastructure used in Operation Centers. Position requires a high degree of adaptability and a focus on meeting customer needs and continuous improvement in the systems supported. Assistance providing support to problem resolution with Sr Level guidance. Understanding of specific equipment and software support activities. Maintain reliable operations of the SCADA DMS/ EMS and ICCP systems with Sr Level guidance. Assistance with maintaining real-time data interfaces with Sr Level Guidance. Look for opportunities to improve tools software data and related services. Assistance with keeping SCADA DMS/ EMS and ICCP tools up-to-date with current technologies with Sr Level Guidance. Ability to build and maintain custom SCADA and DMS/EMS one-line displays. Ability to perform modeling check-out and commissioning of Remote Terminal Units Real-time Data with Sr Level Guidance. Ability to build and maintain SCADA DMS/ EMS and ICCP models with Sr Level Guidance. Assistance with implementing internal SCADA DMS/ EMS and ICCP standards. Look for opportunities to improve/implement Human Performance Initiative rules and Key Performance Indicators around SCADA processes. Assistance in identifying issues with processes and tools and provide possible solutions and provide input to more seasoned personnel. Assistance to support stakeholders with common SCADA related issues. Implements standards in appropriate measures with guidance from higher-level team members. Assists higher level team members with overall SCADA compliance items. Participate in training activities as part of advancement for other team and group members Database Modeling Data Troubleshooting - Integrity / QA Dispatch / Coordinator Support RTO Data Interface SCADA Platform Software Upgrades ICCP Database Modeling ICCP Support ICCP Link Initiation / Maintenance ICCP Data Troubleshooting - Integrity / QA Network / Telecom Communication Support Firewalls/Communication between AEP and RTO Compliance EngagementSkills:scada, sql databaseAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Minimum Requirements: Education requirements: Associates Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or related Technical field or higher from an Accredited College/University or high school diploma and two years related military or electric utility technical experience. In addition to above mentioned work experience: Three years DMS/EMS/SCADA/ICCP experience with Associates Degree and Five years of experience with a high school diploma. Individuals with a Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of DMS/EMS/SCADA/ICCP experience may be considered for entry into the organization at this level in addition to the experience noted above.
