Description Robert Half Management Resources is currently looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support a several month interim/contract opportunity with a client in New Albany, OH. The primary function of this role is to handle various accounting tasks, including A/P, A/R, invoice capture, and bank reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include month-end close, quarter/year-end close, journal entries, intercompany transactions, and other ad hoc accounting items. This role is based onsite at the client's location in New Albany. It is expected to be a 2-3 month contract engagement. Client is on MS Dynamics 365 - strong preference will be given to candidates with experience working in this system. Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Maintaining precise customer credit records. Resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Conducting check/bank runs to ensure financial liquidity. Handling invoice capture tasks, managing between 100-250 invoices a month. Making necessary entry adjustments to maintain accurate financial records. Performing complex reconciliation work to guarantee the accuracy of financial data. Managing intercompany transactions and adjusting entries. Preparing and processing 1099 forms for tax purposes. Working with D365 and Quickbooks to manage multiple entity accounts.Requirements The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar capacity. Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations is a mandatory requirement. The applicant must have experience in preparing and reviewing journal entries. Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Familiarity with invoice processing is a key requirement for this role. Knowledge and hands-on experience with D365 software is a must. The candidate should have experience dealing with multiple entities in a business context.
