Job Title: Product Owner Scrum Master

Location: New Albany, OH 43054

Duration: 9 months assignment with possible extension

Responsibilities
  • The Product/Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of management of business priorities and features of two key initiatives: Central Pay and Credentialing/Membership Mgmt. the manager works with the functional business teams and Development / IT on creating requirements/user stories, providing points of clarification and prioritization of the backlog, and capturing key decisions and changes as the project evolves.
  • The role is also responsible for developing the implementation roadmap and project plan, and driving progress by capturing key dependencies, deliverables and decisions to ensure that the project stays on track through completion.
  • Establish and Define sets of Features and Functionality:
  • Coordinates the requirements with the product owner then defines and develops user stories and acceptance criteria utilizing team input.
  • Grooms product features and provide impact versus value analysis.
  • Owns the creation and prioritization of the product backlog to guide development of the solutions that transform clinician and patient experiences.
  • Shapes and owns the digital product roadmap and data/systems integrations.
  • Conducts team level planning and prioritizes team backlog.
  • Coordinates internal and external teams around portfolio changes and acts as the users’ / customers’ voice
  • Responsible for maximizing product value and the work of the development team.
  • Responsible for understanding the business vision and the customer needs and conveying this to the scrum and/or development teams.
  • QA and Sign off: Monitors internal processes for efficiency and validity before and after product launch or change.
  • Responsible for team logistics and coordination of cross functional meetings within a matrix environment on a highly visible and complex portfolio of programs across the enterprise.
  • Increase the probability that projects, both operational and technology, deliver per requirements on schedule and within budget and scalability.
  • Define and manage the processes to plan, prioritize, track, and align work efforts across all projects and initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement recommendations based on business impact and technical feasibility; leads cross-functional efforts to optimize and measure the business impact of recommended changes. Identifies and confirms internal/external partners and vendors to ensure successful project completion.
  • Guides and develops strategic plans related to program and project management best practices in collaboration with business, strategy, finance, technology, digital and operational units focusing on revenue growth, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Provides technical leadership and guidance including in application of traditional and Agile project management frameworks all within roadmap.
  • Assist with the development implementation of the change management strategy and institutionalize the project life cycle methodology.
  • Advocate change and continuous improvement of systems, procedures, processes, and tools in support of project, portfolio and resource management.
  • Plan for change management activity with business partners and communications teams.


Required Qualifications:
  • Must have strong background in Healthcare or Pharma or Medical or Medical devices domain.
  • 8+ Experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology.
  • Must be Certified Scrum Product Owner
  • (PMP) Project Management Professional certificate a plus
  • SAFe Agile trained (certified preferred)
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (Focus in business or technology a plus)
  • Experience building new system/application a plus (vs work to improve/enhance existing solution)
  • Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria with financial applications and money management systems (i.e., banking, financial services, etc) is a plus.
  • Must have Strategic and tactical thinking, Complex problem solving, Project management & Cross-functional team management skills.
