As the Store Production Coordinator you will manage back room operations to ensure store meets production goals, prepares quality merchandise that meets pricing guidelines to allow store to meet sales goals, ensures excellent donor service, and sends and receives goods to and from the warehouse in a safe and timely fashion. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for proper daily operations of back room, supervising collections, processing, and pricing of donated goods.

Oversees quality control. Enforces guidelines for what is and is not acceptable quality.

Oversees control of pricing. Ensures that consistent pricing is applied to all items.

Responsible for completing the Hourly Production Tracking form daily.

Assists in the supervision and training of new personnel.

Helps maintain the safety of the back room by ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are adhered to by staff daily. Administers safety training.

Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the back room.

Prepares a weekly schedule to meet the needs of all back room operations.

Submits Store Delivery Request form as needed. Communicates with warehouse personnel to meet store needs.

Reports operations, personnel, mission services and safety statistics accurately and timely.

Administers coaching or discipline as needed.

Enforces back room and production standards described in Retail Operations Standards handbook.

Other duties as assigned.

Specific Experience/Skills/Abilities:

Six months or more preferred, experience in retail sales or demonstrated potential for management as evidenced by successful progression through position of increasing responsibility and authority.

Use personal judgment and information to make business decisions and solve problems.

Use words to influence the thinking and actions of others.

Deal with people in a pleasant manner to maintain harmony among staff and customers.

Give and exchange clear and concise information orally or in records and written reports.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to perform a wide range of duties.

Know different shades and tones of color.

Know merchandise within a variety of categories

Experience with operation of personal computers.

Basic Requirements:

High school diploma preferred.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Certification in first aid and CPR is required.

Ability to work varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays a must.

Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: constant standing, constant bilateral reach and handling ability; constant fingering and pinch grip; requires constant ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs.; may require constant shoulder height reaching with either hand and firm grasp; frequent bending; may squat; requires frequent ability to push/pull less than 20 lbs.

Required to wear uniform which includes identification tag.

General office equipment and phone system, cash register, hand jack, tilter, compactor, floor machine, may operate forklift.
