These products are designed to meet rigorous industry standards and serve critical markets such as military, nuclear power, and other industrial applications.location: Painesville, Ohiojob type: Contractsalary: $28 - 32 per hourwork hours: 7am to 11ameducation: High Schoolresponsibilities:Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with blueprintsUse computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly (use conversational program methods M&G Codes, FANUC, MAZATROL)Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining qualityConsider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordinglyTroubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arisePerform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpeningMay train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programsOperate & set-up CNC Lathes and/or Mills when programming is not required.Notifies Production Mgr. or Maintenance of any equipment malfunctions or problems that are impeding production.Ensures that all safety-related concerns are communicated to Production Manager. and Safety Manager and addressed.Follows safety measures required for job requirements.Keeps area clean and organized at all times.Ensures all production data is entered into MES system.Reports any quality concerns to the Production Manager and Quality Director.This position programs and operators CNC equipment.Operates lift truck and performs all other duties as assigned.qualifications:
