Avery Dennison is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support our Performance Tapes business in Painesville, OH. In this role, the Inside Sales Representative is accountable for telephonic inbound and outbound sales, with the primary objective of driving revenue and profit margin growth across small- to mid-size domestic accounts. This role partners with field sales representatives to deliver responsive sales support, execute opportunity follow-up, generate targeted leads, and schedule strategic meetings. Operating as a trusted commercial advisor, the Inside Sales Representative identifies new business opportunities, executes account and territory strategies, and aligns our differentiated value propositions with customer needs.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position is based on-site at our Painesville, OH location with hybrid work schedule flexibility.Proactively identify and generate new account business through outbound cold calling, virtual calls, screening techniques, customer referrals, and marketing campaign support.Manage the assigned domestic territory and opportunity pipeline using Salesforce.com, maintaining accurate customer profiles, opportunity updates, and supply agreements.Uncover and assess customer requirements to build and deliver tailored Value Propositions, providing technical recommendations, product samples, and demonstrations to assist in the optimal application of solutions.Manage customer pricing requests, establish pricing within published guidelines, and actively implement price and mix strategies to achieve territory profitability targets.Serve as the key commercial contact to investigate and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner, collaborating cross-functionally and traveling up to 10% for field sales ride-alongs, customer meetings, and industry trade shows.
