Description We are offering a contract to hire position for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the financial services industry, located in PATASKALA, Ohio. The selected candidate will be primarily engaged in handling accounts payable tasks, utilizing various accounting software systems, maintaining vendor accounts, and ensuring the utmost confidentiality of sensitive banking information.Responsibilities: Accurately processing a large volume of invoices daily Assisting in the establishment and maintenance of vendor accounts Ensuring the utmost confidentiality when dealing with bank information Utilizing Netsuite and other accounting software systems to carry out accounting functions Applying knowledge of Account Coding, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning in daily tasks Carrying out accrual accounting tasks as part of the accounts payable role Conducting auditing tasks as required Handling Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.Requirements Proficiency in Account Coding, playing a vital role in accurately categorizing company expenses. Experience with Accounting Software Systems, demonstrating capability in managing and organizing financial data. Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services, showcasing familiarity with industry-standard payroll and HR solutions. Proficiency in using Concur, indicating ability to manage employee expenses effectively. Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, demonstrating an understanding of integrated management of main business processes. Proven experience in Accounting Functions, showing a comprehensive understanding of financial management. Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP), indicating a solid background in managing outgoing payments. Strong knowledge of Accrual Accounting, demonstrating an ability to record financial transactions when they occur, rather than when cash changes hands. Experience in Auditing, displaying the ability to review and assess financial operations for accuracy and compliance. Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH), showcasing understanding of electronic funds-transfer system.
