Description Robert Half is working with a client that is seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join a reputable public accounting firm located in Pickerington, Ohio. As a Tax Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing our clients' tax compliance and advisory needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality client service.Responsibilities:
Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong client relationships. Understand their unique tax needs and offer proactive solutions.
Tax Compliance: Lead and review the preparation of various tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns, ensuring accuracy, adherence to regulations, and timely filing.
Tax Planning: Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial outcomes.
Research: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and conduct in-depth research to address complex tax issues, applying insights to client scenarios.
Supervision and Mentorship: Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals, guiding them in their work, reviewing their output, and fostering their professional growth.
Review: Review work prepared by team members for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with firm standards.
Client Development: Collaborate with partners and business development teams to identify new opportunities for client expansion and business growth.
Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of technical expertise in tax law, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of tax knowledge.
Project Management: Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Communication: Effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients, team members, and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree and CPA designation preferred.
