Enjoy working outdoors? Are you reliable and responsible? The Harbour Homeowners Pool Technician position is an excellent opportunity to work outdoors for a few hours a day. Previous Pool experience is not required. Training will be provided.
The Pool Technician is a part-time, seasonal position from May to Mid-September and offers regular hours and flexible days, an average of 20 hours/week. Hourly rate: $15.00.
Pool Technician Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team to open and care for two outdoor pools
Check pool water pH level and report irregularities
Skim the pool to clean the surface, along with other pool cleaning duties
Set up/take down umbrellas
Straighten pool furniture
Ensure the pool deck is kept clean of garbage and debris
Water the plants on the pool deck
Touch up bathrooms and ensure supplies are stocked
Assist the Property Manager with additional duties as necessary
Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Driver's License
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work a flexible schedule of mornings
Physical Requirements: Bending, lifting, twisting, repetitive motion, heavy lifting, ability to work in variable weather conditions
