Job Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct accurate and timely testing of raw materials, bulk formulations, and finished goods per established procedures and FDA/GLP standards.
Inspect and control incoming raw materials and components, as well as finished products.
Verify end-of-shift and end-of-run reconciliation on production lines.
Assemble and verify all batch records.
Support the implementation of the Quality System to ensure compliance with FDA regulations.
Coordinate with production teams to document and report nonconformities.
Perform routine verification of instrument calibration and preventive maintenance on lab equipment.
Assist in training line personnel and staff as needed.
Conduct routine environmental microbiological testing.
Ensure laboratory supplies and chemicals are adequately stocked.
Prepare and document standards, standard solutions, and reagents.
Champion quality initiatives both in the lab and on the production floor.
Maintain an efficient laboratory environment that processes samples accurately.
Promote a supportive team atmosphere focused on quality matters.
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations regarding inspection and testing.
Interpret and report analytical data.
Participate in product release/rejection processes with approval from the QC Supervisor/QA Specialist.
Qualifications:-Must have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a similar lab science. ( Also open to an Associate of Science with a couple of years of lab experience)-Good computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in team environment.About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
