Genesis10 is seeking an VP of Engineering for a leading company. This is a full-time direct hire role.
Job Duties:
Establishes and implements the strategic direction of the company's engineering and development initiatives. Leads team through management and mentorship.
Collaborates with the company's executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals while supplying expertise and guidance on projects, operations, and systems.
Ensure design requirements and consistency of user experience are met.
Develop standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are consistent and met.
Work with product team to design, create and deliver products that exceed expectations.
Identifies, recommends, and implements new technologies and systems to improve organizational processes and decision-making.
Establishes, communicates, and implements engineering and development policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent operations.
Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in engineering and development related to the organizations industry.
Recruit, cultivate and retain top development and engineering talent
Requirements:
7-10 years leading teams in major software development projects, with extensive broad based Microsoft experience
Successful implementation of healthcare IT, preferrable in High Acuity Care areas. Medical device experience preferred.
Proven success working closely with Product Management, contributing to product strategy and successful delivery on the product roadmap
Strong collaboration experience with internal team, clients, industry partners.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
