Description We are looking for a meticulous Construction Accountant to join our team based in Toledo, Ohio. This role will involve managing accounts payable and receivable, using Microsoft Excel and Oracle, and dealing with construction accounting. Responsibilities: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting Operate Oracle software for accounting purposes Handle construction accounting tasks, including contract and payment applications Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Maintain accurate records of customer credit information Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts Review financial data for accuracy and correct any discrepancies Collaborate with the team to streamline the accounting process Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. Requirements Demonstrable experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel is required. Familiarity with Oracle software is a must. Prior experience in Construction Accounting is essential. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is crucial. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus. Knowledge of construction industry regulations and standards is beneficial.
