Intervention Specialist

The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff. Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred

Full Ohio Intervention Specialist license required

Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred

State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred

State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred

State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred

Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

This specific position will focus on environmental compliance, Stellantis Production Way (SPW) environmental domain activities, Environmental Management System (EMS 14001), and environmental improvement goals. The Environmental Specialist position will report to the Head of US Manufacturing Environmental Compliance and be responsible for and not limited to: Manage routine environmental reports, environmental compliance tasks, inventories and surveys; including data acquisition, documentation, record keeping, monitoring, review, and approval Implement environmental training programs and training assessments to ensure required training is identified and conducted Conduct regular audits of EHS processes and necessary follow up to ensure compliance and advise plant leadership and corporate staff of findings Analyze environmental incidents, determine root causes, implement corrective action and communicate this information to plant leadership and corporate Support new equipment programs at the concept stage to ensure that environmental design specifications and regulations are included Coordinate communication of environmental regulatory inspection activity with plant leadership Lead environmental projects to improve key performance metrics Support the implementation and maintenance of the plant\'s environmental management system to meet EMS 14001 (E2HS) and SPW Environment Pillar requirements Basic Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental, Engineering, Science or related field Basic understanding of federal, state, provincial and local environmental regulations and Requirements Minimum of five years of relevant environmental compliance experience such as auditing, consulting, manufacturing, etc. Willingness to work on any shift and additional hours as required Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and/or other software Preferred Qualifications: Master\'s degree in Environmental, Engineering, Science or related field Strong understanding of federal, state, provincial and local environmental regulations and requirements Environmental related professional certifications (e.g. PE, CHMM) Automotive or manufacturing environmental compliance experience Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled.
