Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Toledo, Ohio, for a Senior Network Engineer. The role primarily involves assisting with a network segmentation project, engaging with Azure Networking, Cisco routing and switching, Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama, Juniper routing and switching, Juniper Mist, SD WAN, MPLS, OSP, and BGP routing.Responsibilities: Assist in implementing a network segmentation project Utilize expertise in Azure Networking for optimal network performance and reliability Implement and manage Cisco routing and switching protocols to maintain network efficiency Operate Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama to secure the network infrastructure Manage Juniper routing and switching, ensuring network efficiency and reliability Utilize Juniper Mist technology for wireless networking Implement and oversee SD WAN for enhanced network connectivity Use MPLS for directing data from one network node to the next Manage OSP and BGP routing to maintain the stability and speed of the network Ensure all actions adhere to the relevant industry regulations and standards.Requirements A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of Network Engineering Proficient knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) Extensive experience with Cisco ASA Demonstrable skills in Configuration Management Proficiency in Firewall Technologies Experience with Palo Alto Firewall and Palo Alto Networks Familiarity with Juniper technologies, including Juniper Networks, Juniper Routers, and Juniper Switches Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Ability to design and implement complex network designs Prior experience in the Steel Manufacturing industry is a plus Excellent communication and teamwork skills Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities Relevant certifications in networking would be advantageous Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
