Financial Systems Manager to serve as the support to Business Unit Finance leads, Corporate Business Unit leads. The position will work closely with Information Services (IS), Corporate Financial Services and will collaborate across various corporate departments to ensure efficient operations of the ERP suite and ensure users have received adequate training.POSITION SUMMARY This position is integral to providing efficient operation of the ERP suite and collaborating with IS and end-users for optimal use of the ERP. Manages the financial ERP suite and reporting area. Plays a key role in providing expert functional software support and report development for Corporate Financial Services area and it customers. Oversees maintenance of software and reporting tools, along with testing of the monthly CU releases. Creative in addressing technical business challenges. Act as liaison between management and IS in optimum solution development. Works within the framework of the ProMedica Health System culture to nuture and cultivate synergies inside and outside area of responsibilities. Collaborates with other departments and leaders to create solutions-based alternatives.  ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Maintains the Infor Financial modules for optimum performance and functionality for daily operations and for month, quarter, and year end close. 2. Develop reports and queries for accounting users and other customers as needed in the best tool. Knowledge of databases and data query development. 3. Assists and advises in set up of new processes and functionality as needed across systems. 4. Work with IS to coordinate, develop and integrate new financial software packages with existing systems. 5. Maintains system integrity by ensuring that all financial modules are complete and integrated at month end. 6. Coordinate annual budget loads from various applications for corporate and various business lines. 7. Works with IS to develop test plans and execute testing for system changes and monthly CU releases. Works on system upgrades with Accounting leadership and IS. 8. Set up and maintain chart of accounts per accounting policy. Maintains reporting hierarchy for consolidations and reporting. Develop report enhancements. 9. Train new employees and assist in the development of training materials for all modules. Ensure ongoing training for functional users is up-to-date. Verify technical reference information is accurate. 10. Works to minimize customizations in software. 11. Communication of status, solutions and concerns regarding systems, reports, and new frontiers in technology with Accounting Management. Disseminate information in a timely manner to functional and IS teams. Partner effectively with internal and external customers to drive desired business results. 12. Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal vouchers, accounting classifications assigned to various records, etc. 13. Interfaces with reimbursement intermediaries and auditors. 14. Assists in determining accounting policy and ensuring system configuration changes are implemented and performing consistent with the accounting policy changes. 15. Maintains confidentiality of necessary information. 16. Responds to and resolves problem/requests in a timely manner. 17. Ability to work effectively in a team and work independently. 18. Sense of urgency with strong follow up skills. 19. Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.Location: Hybrid Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on Information Technology, Computer Science, or Accounting Skills: Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
