We also care for pediatric cancer patients in our state-of-the-art - yet fun and whimsical - Debbie Brass Children's Cancer Center. In fact, we’re the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive this honor. The Injury Prevention & Community Outreach Department specializes in education and awareness of unintentional childhood injury prevention. We reach families and caregivers through a multi-faceted approach with education, policy, evaluation and safety product distribution. Position Summary : The Support Coordinator III will be responsible with assisting the department with secretarial duties in the coordination of injury prevention and community outreach activities to satisfy grant obligations. This position will be responsible for for certain filing, typing, processing of supply orders, generating invoices, depositing revenue and collecting data from surveys. They will also be responsible for answering phones, and setting appointments for car seat clients as well as registering class participants. Responsible for maintaining database of departments grant related expenses, client files, as well as serve as Treasurer for Safe Kids Greater Toledo. High School graduate or equivalent required; Associates degree in Business, Office Management or similar preferred
Minimum of 1 year of similar experience
Microsoft Office experience, including typing speed of 50 wpm
Child Passenger Safety Technician required or be able to obtain within 3 months of hire
