Job Summary
The Automotive Technician will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to ensure customers receive accurate information and dependable service.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, etc.)
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC systems
Document all work performed and communicate findings clearly to service writers and customers
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and repair techniques
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred
2+ years of experience as an automotive technician (ASE certifications a plus)
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical bulletins
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
