Position Overview: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Salvage Yard Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for managing inventory, organizing warehouse space, and assisting with the shipping and receiving of salvage parts.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and inventory incoming salvage parts shipments.
Organize and maintain warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and accessibility of inventory.
Utilize inventory management software to track parts and monitor stock levels.
Assist with the packaging and shipping of salvage parts to customers and vendors.
Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet customer requirements.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
Familiarity with automotive parts and components is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
