The Daily Telegram is seeking an Inside Advertising Representative.
The position will work cooperatively with other members of the sales team
to grow existing customers, create new customers, and meet or exceed monthly
sales goals.
Duties include:
-Working with customers and the Creative Services team to develop and place ads in print and online.
-Actively seeking and closing new print, digital and niche product advertising revenue.
-Increasing sales by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.
-Proficiency with a computer is a requirement.
-Basic copy editing skills are a plus.
-The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, the focus to meet deadlines and
a strong attention to detail.
-Prior sales experience strongly preferred.
-Microsoft Office and basic math skills required.
-Knowledge of Google Docs is a plus.
