J&P Truck & Trailer Repair, Fostoria Ohio is looking to fill the position of Semi Truck & Trailer Repair Shop Manager. The candidate would be responsible for the following:
Planning, directing and coordinating the maintenance of vehicles
Ensuring all vehicles are DOT compliant (Safe, annual inspections)
Maintaining fleet maintenance records.
Ensuring regular PM maintenance program is followed.
Coordinate with vendors for parts delivery/inventory/warranty work
Coordinate outside repairs when necessary.
Ensure all road breakdowns are handled properly.
Coach and educate employees on maintenance procedures.
Manage employees in the repair shop to include housekeeping.
Ensure cleanliness of vehicles is up to company standards.
Shop Manager will be on call to field MNH breakdown calls after hours and on weekends and maintain a call log for each day.
Secure and Maintain new business.
